\"PlatinumSutherland has a plethora of incredible people. However, we have many who are willing to go the Extra Mile. In acknowledgment of their efforts, we honor them as a Platinum Performer. Meet Sutherland\u2019s latest awardee \u2013 Veronika Toneva.<\/p>\n

\u00a01. How and when did you come to Sutherland?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I came to Sutherland in March, 2014 for an entry level technical support position. I felt passion for training during my on-boarding training and decided that I\u2019ll try to develop my carrier in that direction. Seven months later there was an opening for a Training Specialist and I got the job.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Tell us something about Sutherland or your role specifically that others may not know.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Being a Training Specialist for\u00a0one of our biggest clients is extremely exciting because of the global impact a trainer has. \u00a0Trainers are a part of an international\u00a0team, called Professors. As a professor I write technical articles, I develop training materials, I lead projects. It\u2019s rewarding to know that all products of your work are going to be applied in more than 10 locations and that you\u2019re improving and helping not only teams locally but support agents world-wide.<\/p>\n

3. So far in your career at Sutherland, what are your top three most important accomplishments?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last year I led the project for global on-boarding\u00a0training program for all Generalist teams and received great recognition from the client and full score on the Quarterly review. This year I\u2019m leading the project for on-boarding training program for Specialists. The client asked me to participate in the launch of their new site in Manila. I\u2019m very excited to participate in the training of their first wave. I\u2019m basically packing my bags as I\u2019m writing this.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0What would be your advice to someone who wants to work in your position at Sutherland?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a lot of work and going the extra mile, but it\u2019s also a great opportunity to gain skills in multiple directions. Also don\u2019t be afraid to ask a trainer how to prepare for a training position. Above all we like to share our knowledge and know-how.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0What\u2019s the best advice you\u2019ve ever received at work or in life?<\/strong><\/p>\n

When you plan your career, don\u2019t think about the next position you want, think about the position after your next. This way you\u2019ll have better understanding of the direction you want to go in and the skills you have to develop to get there. Our previous account manager Sabina gave me this advice.<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0What do you do outside of work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I travel a lot, I attend metal concerts every now and then, I ride a bicycle, I play PlayStation games.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
