At Sutherland, we believe that when people come together with a shared purpose, even small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact. Our One Heart campaign is a wonderful example of what can be achieved through compassion, teamwork, and generosity.

Thanks to the incredible support of our employees, we raised BGN 4,000 in partnership with the “With a Smile Ahead” Foundation, helping provide meaningful support to 11 young people cared for by Mariana and her team in Veliko Tarnovo.

Every contribution made a difference. Whether by purchasing one of the handmade Valentine’s cards, spreading the word, or simply supporting the initiative, our colleagues helped turn kindness into real action. We are also deeply grateful to the talented students from the Private English Language Secondary School – Chelopech, who created each Valentine’s card with creativity, care, and heart.

The funds raised are already making a tangible impact. In line with the purpose of the campaign, part of the donation has been used to cover the summer semester university tuition fees for three of the young people, helping them continue their higher education and pursue their dreams. The remaining funds will support essential home repairs and the purchase of furniture, creating a safer, more comfortable, and welcoming home environment.

More than financial assistance, this campaign delivered something equally important—a message of hope and belonging. It reminded these young people that they are not alone and that there is a community standing behind them, believing in their future.

We are incredibly proud of what Team Sutherland achieved together. The success of the One Heart campaign once again demonstrates the power of collective generosity and our commitment to supporting the communities where we live and work.
