On March 23 Sutherland hosted an official visit of the University of National and World Economy at the company office in Sofia. At the visit the guests were presented the specifics of the business, different projects, core values, priorities and initiatives of the company. During the day the guests, including Vice-Rector of the University, deans, professors and representatives of the Student Council, met with the management team of the company. At the event the guests visited and talked with various departments and projects at Sutherland. Among the main objectives of the visit was to discuss ideas for future projects and initiatives to continue the successful partnership.

In 2016 the Rector of the university Prof. Dr. Stati Statev and Site Head of Sutherland in Bulgaria, Dimitar Galabov, signed an agreement between the University and the company. The partners are joining forces to develop highly qualified graduates and their future careers.
